Azamara Quest will stop in Ponta Delgada, Portugal, Gibraltar, Cartagena and Mahon Menorca in Spain, and Cannes, home of the film festival then finish in Nice. And and … yours truly is the guest lecturer on that cruise with 5 talks devoted to Social Media – its founding, fascination, future and the fiddling that goes on within the networks.
Gee, if I were trying to put together enough cruises to make it literally around the world, I would definitely be on this Azamara cruise. And if someone reading this happens to make that cruise, by all means, drop by and say hello and tell me we first met here!
One last transatlantic cruise that sounds fun to me is on Holland America – Copenhagen, St. Petersburg, Stockholm and Copenhagen, then heads west to Norway, the Shetlands, an overnight in Reykjavik, Greenland, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia before sailing up the Hudson River to New York. Hmm … I wonder if they need a Special Guest Lecturer.
