Do not tell people you are passionate about your subject.
Margaret Thatcher said something like, “Being a leader is like being a lady, if you have to tell people you are, then you aren’t.”
If you are trying to tell people you are passionate, more often than not it is you trying to convince yourself that you are passionate or must show the passion.
How to be passionate –
1. Study your topic. If it is a chore to study then you are not passionate. If you can’t wait to learn more, then you usually can’t wait to tell people more.
2. Search your topic. What’s going on in your world? Who’s lives are changing because of what you know? These are fun stories to tell indeed.

If you are applying these elements to your daily life and speaker platform, then passion will display itself naturally and much more effectively.
And you will see a much better response and engagement from your audience.
