Motivation is one of my favorite topics. Mostly because a LOT of public speakers know what it takes to motivate people. And maybe they do know some ways.
Invariably I hear that the strongest motivator is passion – for your topic, your audience, your product, your service.
Finding your passion.
Fueling your passion.
Living your passion.

The fires of passion will burn out, dwindle, or just flicker.
It is NOT the strongest motivator by any means.
I can think of several things that are stronger than passion.
One of them you can find in this video.

The answer: hunger. You have to eat. When your passion dies out, you and those you love who are depending on you might still be hungry.
When you are hungry, you find a way. That’s all there is to it.
And when you are committed to finding a way no matter what, guess who or what steps in to help out – creativity. That’s right. The creative juices can really get going when they have to.
Seldom to people freeze up when they are really hungry. Instead they force doors open, manipulate, calculate, innovate and become surprised at their own creativity.
