*** FREE webinar on Speaking on Cruise ships Thurs Dec 19 ***
Every third Monday of the month, a motivated group of speakers meet to discuss speaking techniques and how to get on cruise ships. Hosted by SpeakOnCruises.com, the event draws people from all walks of life.
After a brief networking period, a formal agenda is held to ensure folks maximize their time. Many come to the town that is the home of Stanford University. Several have driven from the Central Valley to participate in the Bay Area Speakers Network. Organized by Bill Belew and Rick Deutsch, the events are lively and information is shared between attendees. There are so many slots on the dozens of cruise ships that no one is in competition with others.

Beginners and seasoned speakers attend. The networking segment is very useful to emerging speakers. During the evening, a guest speaker or the organizers give a presentation that addresses common issues for all. Participants are encourage to share their perspectives as well.
The world of cruise ship speaking is very competitive and it takes a bit of finesse to be able to apply and be selected. SpeakOnCruises has been involved with all five of the major agencies and can provide and an inside track to people. Many clients are from international locations. The United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australian speakers have recently participated. (Not in person but in the formal programs.)
