If you are a qualified speaker for cruise ships, you need to try real hard to snag this trip. It’s a year away, but from February 19 – 23, 2015, “I’m 18” rock and roller Alice Cooper will headline on Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas. The program is called The Legends of Rock cruise. But wait, that’s not all. You will also hear and see: the Doobie Brothers, Blue Oyster Cult, Uriah Heep, .38 Special, the Edgar Winter Band, the Marshall Tucker Band, 10 Years After, Eddie Money and more. They will perform in “festival” seating on the huge ship ….like jam in.
Holy cow, this is like a mini Woodstock at sea. The cruise will feature performances on four different on-board venues. The itinerary is from Ft Lauderdale to Nassau and back in 4 days. Most of the “cheap seats” are sold out, but for about a grand apiece you can still snag one. Gee, a full year out! Speakers need to work with the agencies covering Royal Caribbean to try to get this booking. Heck it’s even worth doing on your own!
