People gravitate to happy, fun-loving, energetic, giving people.
Pour your heart in to your preparation, then let your efforts overflow onto the stage and into your audience.
If you are working when giving your talk, the audience will know.
If you are having a ball on stage, have something that burns inside such that you can’t wait or help but let it out, the audience will know.
If you are having genuine fun being on stage and pouring out your heart, knowledge, your listeners will catch the fire and respond.
I have authority. I have credibility. When I deliver my talks, my listeners KNOW that I KNOW what I am talking about. They interpret this as passion, but for me it’s ‘one beggar telling another beggar where to buy food.”
I know something so cool I can’t help but want to tell people. What I know about Social Media literally changes people’s businesses and/or their life.
I could do a better job of having fun on the cruise ship. And as I write this I realized that.
