Cruise Ship Lecturers add to more fun on transatlantic crossings

Royal Caribbean WOW Sale

Royal Caribbean Does Transatlantic

There’s a LOT of water between the East Coast and the Old Country. It’s even farther from the left coast to Asia!

When you are cruising the ocean there are a lot of sea days.

How to make the most of that time.

Enter the cruise ship lecturer.

Royal Caribbean is adding guest speakers on culture, dance, photography, musicals, food, booze … not to mention booze packages!

Ruby Princess will stop in Bermuda on the way.

Azamara Quest will stop in Ponta Delgada, Portugal, Gibraltar, Cartagena and Mahon Menorca in Spain, and Cannes, home of the film festival then finish in Nice. And and … yours truly is the guest lecturer on that cruise with 5 talks devoted to Social Media – its founding, fascination, future and the fiddling that goes on within the networks.

Gee, if I were trying to put together enough cruises to make it literally around the world, I would definitely be on this Azamara cruise. And if someone reading this happens to make that cruise, by all means, drop by and say hello and tell me we first met here!

One last transatlantic cruise that sounds fun to me is on Holland America – Copenhagen, St. Petersburg, Stockholm and Copenhagen, then heads west to Norway, the Shetlands, an overnight in Reykjavik, Greenland, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia before sailing up the Hudson River to New York. Hmm … I wonder if they need a Special Guest Lecturer.

See you on the Azamara!
