Cruise Speakers are welcome on Holland America. They have a great ship with amenities for all ages. As a speaker, you can bring anyone along with you. I took a sister to the Mediterranean.
The cruise will depart on January 23, 2015 and make a round trip from Fort Lauderdale to the Amazon River. It will be 49-days, so you have to really plan ahead. There is no promise that they will have speakers, but with that many sea days, it’s worth applying through your agency.
The Voyage is called the “Amazon and Carnaval Explorer.” The ship is the 1,258-passenger Maasdam. There will be 25 ports in the Caribbean, Central America and South America.
14 of the stops will be in Brazil, including a multiday stay in Rio de Janeiro during Carnaval in mid-February and many stops along the Amazon River. You’ll get your share of sun ands surf as the ship stops in many Caribbean islands: Aruba, Bonaire, Barbados, Dominica, Trinidad, Tobago and Curaçao.
Want to go for free? Unless you know the owners, you can do this by giving talks onboard. But to do that you have to be accepted by an agency that presents you to the cruise line. How do you go about this? We know how and will teach you. Sound good?
