Cruise Speakers: Alaska trips | Humpback whales in Glacier Bay,

The stops on an Alaska cruise make the trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This trip is well worth going after. Free is a good price for two!

You can be a Destination speaker if you can relate Juneau, Skagway, Sitka, Ketchikan and Glacier Bay to audiences. As an Enrichment speaker your talks might relate to the itinerary…gold, sea life, salmon spawning, grizlies, etc.

Alaska's Glaciers

Alaska’s Glaciers

Seeing a glacier calving right in front of you is memorable. I have to admit that it’s not like on TV, where you see them one after another. Reality will play out that they only drop occasionally. Keep your camera handy.

Currently, a 13-knot speed limit has been set for Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve. Why? A dozen humpback whales were recently were sighted. The normal speed allowed is 20 knots (pretty fast). Last year a top speed of 10 knots was set. The ships need to stay a quarter mile from the whales.

All cruises through the park are narrted by a ranger. Your tlaks can provide a perspective on many aspect of Alaska.
