This is a tough assignment. Writing about perfection. Especially in a field such as speaking, that can be so subjective.

Some people like things one way and others another way. Some can’t be pleased no matter what and others are happy with most anything.
What does perfection look like? More importantly, when aiming for perfection, what are the tools, you need, the steps to take.
Steps to Create a Perfect Presentation
After a recent performance and an evaluation, I went back and tried to analyze the steps I took to get there.
Over the coming days, I will write about each. Please subscribe to the site to get the updates, and by all means weigh in if you agree or disagree.
Most people say they want feedback. What they really want is for people to say nice things to them. Not me. I want real feedback … I think.
I will write out the steps in no particular order, more or less as they came to me.
Looking over my list I have 23 items (nice round number … not). It may shrink = get combined, or grow, split.
But I have a good working list.
So, that this particular post is not JUST an introduction, a very important step to improving, striving for perfection is ANALYSIS.
Take the time to break down your good AND your bad performances. Continually ask yourself what worked and what didn’t.
Ask people who’s opinion you value for their feedback. Some of it will be right, some will be wrong. Write them all down on your heart, your mind or maybe even on a piece of paper … or tablet. And mull them over. Think them through.
Throw out what you don’t agree with because they really were not right. Reevaluate what valid points you think they made and make necessary changes.
Conclusion:
Analysis of performance is an important step to reach perfection.
