The Wow Factor | 24 Steps to Creating the Perfect Presentation

Perfect Cruise Ship Presentations

Perfect Cruise Ship Presentations

In finding ways to take your cruise ship presentation to the ‘perfect’ level, this one step might be the most difficult.

It’s hard enough to get on stage, I suppose. But if you follow our lead we will get you on stage.

After that it’s a matter of doing everything that is called for – answering the most important question,  creating a talk just for your next audience.

The Wow Factor

But this step?

  • It’s harder.
  • It’s not always intuitive.
  • Sometimes it just might not be there. Unless you work really hard.

Adding the Wow Factor to your presentation takes the presentation to a whole new level.

The person who does what is expected of them deserves no kudos. After all they did what was expected of them.

The person who does what is expected of them well deserves minimum praise. After all they did what was expected of them. They just did it a bit better than someone else. So?

The person who does all that is expected of them, does it very well, and goes above and beyond and even then some is where the highest marks go. S/he is the difference between a 9.0 and that perfect 10.

When I am done, I want to:

  • see jaws drop
  • receive spontaneous applause
  • see the look of stun in my listeners’ eyes.

I have seen slides so well done that they in themselves told a story. The slides didn’t complement  the talk, they doubled the emphasis of the talk.

I have seen speakers hit such an ideal cadence that the entire audience was in synch with them … thought by thought, gesture by gesture, pause by pause and word by word.

I have seen audiences gasp. I have seen audiences ask “Has it been an hour already? Does he really have to finish now?”

The wow factor you bring to your talk will be different from anyone else. Still, ask yourself what will fit nicely in to my talk that will cause my listeners to think out loud:

“I was not expecting that.”

If you can come up with something, you will in the end have that perfect presentation.
