Most speakers are on the go alot. That means meals on the go in your car. That also means fast-food.
If you are like me, that is dangerous when you are knee-driving (come on, YOU do that) It’s hard to chomp on a burger with ketchup dripping down. I have arrived with spots on my pants and shirt.
A sport coat is a good way to cover them up, but at some ventues you would be over-dressed. What to do?
Since I get my quickie lunch at the window of drive-ups, I thought about it, stared at the sun and thought up possible solutions.
My first idea was to drape a towel on my lap. It worked for keeping my pants clean, but the shirt was still vulnerable. When I pulled it up high, it would slide down.

Then it hit me – A kitchen bib! Go to a home store, Target or Walmart are good sources. After you get your order in a bag, pull over and slip the apron over your head and spread it out. OK, you will look silly, but then you can carefully put your meal on your lap. Dine away!
When you arrive, you are pristine and ready to speak! Ladies, you can apply this also.
No charge for this idea. Stay tuned to this blog for more tips. And hey, we can get you on cruise ships. A free cruise for two is a good price.
