I don’t use a Mac. (Except for an iPad mini that someone wants to me use to play with their App).
Still Macs are good quality.
The interface at the bottom of the Mac screen that gives the impression of rolling like a wave when you move your cursor across the bottom. I heard a story of how it came to be. Truth or fiction? Doesn’t matter to me.
The guy who created that user interface was in a room trying to explain what it was he had created.
Nobody got it. Jobs and the others sent him away.
Not long after Jobs found the guy sitting in the lobby looking very dejected.
They made eye contact and they guy said something along the lines, “If I could just show you what it can do you will get it.”
He showed Jobs and now the interface is standard fare.
If you are really good at what you do = have an expertise, all you really need to do is figure out how to / the best way to show people that you are.
Share your expertise. Remember ‘show and tell’ in kindergarten and the first grade?
That’s what I am talking about.
Show your audience your expertise. Then tell them how you do it.
People ‘get’ when someone is really really good at what they do.
