It is easy enough to look at speaking on a cruise ship as a ticket to a free cruise for you and someone you love.
Seriously, how hard can it be to come up with 4-5 topics about something you are interested in, something you know about or something you can research.
Bloggers and Cruise Ship Lecturers Need a Message
Most if not all the audience is just there to be entertained anyway. No need to wind them up, get them all charged up, rouse the troops, that sort of thing.
Just deliver the goods. This is this and that is that. Then meet your crowd at the buffet and smile a lot. Not hard at all. Really.

IF … you are satisfied with just delivering the goods.
I am not. I want my talks to be memorable.
I want my audience to write in their cruise feedback, “I was NOT expecting those cruise talks by (insert your name) to be that (insert adjectives such as inspiring, educational, deep, fun …)
Raise the Level of Your Cruise Talk
Your talks will jump a few notches if they have an over arching message that you want to get across.
I am not talking about evangelism. We are not trying to convert the listeners to anything. We are not proselytizing them. We are, however, trying to touch their souls, their minds, their hearts with our message. And when we do … our talks are even more well received.
When I blog, I always have more I want to say than I can say in just one 300-word post.
Example – I talk Social Media. But I talk about in the context of “Realizing Your Dreams.”
There’s a place where dreams come true. There are people who actually realize their dreams. Their are obstacles that dreamers overcome and so on.
When I was done, I delivered on Social Media for cruisers. But not a few people told me how they were inspired by the overall message.
Have a message and the impact of your talks will be much stronger.
Reach out to us and we will get you on a cruise ship as a speaker.
