Highly Effective Habits of Cruise Ship Lecturers – Introduction

Highly Effective Habits of Professional Speaker

Highly Effective Habits of Professional Speaker

Habits are what we do without thinking. They are so ingrained in us that they are second nature, instinct, action without deep and sometimes no thought. It is best that they are good … especially when you are a cruise ship speaker.

The cruise ship speaker will be delivering his/her topic, engaging the audience, making adjustments on the fly. There is no time nor leeway to be thinking about mannerisms and should haves.

Good solid habits are great confidence builders. They allow the speaker to focus on content knowing that their content is embedded in quality.

Example: It is very hard to say with the necessary confidence, “This style of digital marketing is the absolute best'” if in the back of my mind I am thinking, “Am I gesturing effectively, have I said ‘um’ too many times, have I practiced this phrase for best results …” and so on.
