People remember much more about what they see than what they hear.
That being said, a good cruise ship lecturer who is telling stories will consider the following.
1. Their gestures. Practice these with real people when you make points and see what kind of reaction get. Use the right gesture at the right time to get the best result.
2. Posture – open arms, closed, hunched, straight as an arrow. Which posture gives the best outcome?
3. Facial expressions – what can you do with your face and eyes to help accentuate a point? Experiment.

4. Movement – go right to left, back to front. Get off the stage. Get back on. Jump. Stoop. Lean. Turn. Practice them all at each of your points in your presentation.
The more you master these the better you can emphasize your words. And that makes for real power.
