This is my third post in my series on how to add layers to your presentations to turn them from good to great.
You can read the introduction to the series – Layering your presentations for greatness.
And all about the first layer – Answer the question they are all asking
How do you get to the next level?
Admittedly, this one is tougher than the first which is why I say take it to another level.

I want to be absolutely sure I am answering the question they all have = deliver the content they are looking for, signed up to get. But I want to do more.
On my recent cruise aboard the Azamara Quest, my assignment was a series of 5 lectures on Social Media. No problem.
But I wanted to know how I could get another message across while I was delivering the content.
I settled on dreams. Social media is huge. The people who dreamed up the idea are different.
And the place where social media came to life is different.
My first talk was on the history of Social Media. I delivered what people wanted to know. But I made the presentation in the context of a place where dreams come true, challenging my audience to think about dreams they might still have and let them chew on that all the while learning about the history of Social Media.
Two layers.
But there are more.
