We often learn our best lessons from our mistakes, not our successes.
In the coming days I want to explore some things cruise ship lecturers can do wrong.
After all the work you will go through with Rick and/or me to get on board, we and you do want to do an exceptional job. Remarkable for its success, not its flaws.
I invite you to take a look at my series on being a creative cruise ship lecturer. Or you can take a look at creating a perfect presentation.
How to be a more creative cruise ship speaker.
How to do a perfect presentation in 24 steps.
This series will concentrate on the negatives but with my recipe for avoiding them.
Avoid a Bad Cruise Ship Presentation
- Don’t be Dull
- Don’t be a Talking Head
- Not Just the Facts
- No Death by Powerpoint
- No Standing Still
When we know what not to do, we can concentrate our efforts on what we should be doing.
One tip – have fun delivering your topic. If you are having fun, your audience will have fun with you. If you are struggling, your audience will struggle to stay with you.
To get on board, reach out and we won’t just tell you what to do, we will work with you step-by-step all the way.
