Oceania is expanding their fleet by buying the Ocean Princess

The Ocean Princess

Princess Cruises’ has sold the Ocean Princess to Oceania Cruises.  The Ocean Princess holds a tad less than 700 pax. The dust won’t settle legally until March of 2016 (note 2016).

The ship was originally owned by Renaissance Cruises. We rode on it (we paid – pre-speaking gigs). My wife and I agreed it was a superb experience and were sorry to see Renaissance go under.

After a $40M dry dock, it will be named the Sirena. The ship is relatively small for the industry.

An aggressive marketing campaign will try to fill the ship, with reservations opening in March of 2015.  The cruise industry is a lot like Major League baseball – free agency means you never know who owns who.

We can only speculate on the needs for speakers on the Sirena. Princess lines does support speakers. Get your act together to get booked for a free cruise for two. We can walk you through the process. See our HIRE US page for details.
