Gruesome: Suicide and Death from and on Cruise Ships Are a Sad Reality

Man thinking

Don’t Fret on Cruise Ships

It’s unfortunate, but all events on cruise ships are not happy ones.

It’s hard to imagine how the two can be connected … but they are.

CBS will air a program about the disappearance of a new groom who got ‘separated’ from his new bride on a cruise ship.

A crewman appears to have jumped from a cruise ship to Alaska. His remains have been discovered.

Thankfully, a great grandad was booted off a ship for telling the staff he wanted to “jump ship.”

Death and suicide like bombs and threats are no joking matter.

Cruise ships really are festive. Food is great. People are great. Shows are fun. Excursions can be really terrific. And speaking to people enjoying all these things can indeed be a real highlight for you, the speaker, and the listener.

I have been invited to share many a meal with attendees to my talks. I still get emails from some of them.

Cruise ships can be a place to renew a lease on life. And the cruise ship speaker can be a part of that.
