Dancers can be cruise ship speakers too!

Can you dance? Can you lecture on it?

Can you dance? Can you lecture on it?

We are often asked about the topics that speakers should develop – “What’s in demand?” Anything that will entertain vacationers for 45 minutes. Make it fun and provide some education. How about a series on dancing? The history of it? Some cultural nuances, modern trends, etc. SpeakonCruises has a reputation for helping speakers through this key element of their application. So if you are a dancer – you may want to sail for free and enjoy this cruise!

Holland America cruise line has announced it is extending its partnership with “Dancing with the Stars” for another season. During the 2014 sailing season, passengers on Holland America will be able to jump right in and get their “Dancing with the Stars” fix.

On the MS Nieuw Westerdaml, guests can immerse themselves in the competition. The cruise line will have competitions on each of their 15 ships. Contestants will try for the overall title to be awarded on the Dec. 6 cruise. Holland America is also planning six special “Dancing with the Stars” theme cruises. They have invited some of the major professional dancers off of the TV show. This include Tristan MacManus, Kym Johnson, Carson Kressley and actress Sabrina Bryan.

The first competitive cruise will be stopping at Half Moon Cay, George Town, Grand Cayman and Key West. 15 passengers will be mated with professional dance partners. The overall winning couple will awarded the “Dancing with the Stars: At Sea Mirror Ball Trophy.”

Shine up your dancing shoes.
