The things they looked at: Quality, reputation, CDC assessments (think Norwalk and Norovirus), price and itineraries.

These are the top of the bunch. I’ve sailed for free, by speaking, on many of them. Ships not listed are very good also, but you can only list three as the top. $41 Billion will be spent on cruising in 2016. That comes from over 22 million people – world-wide. An estimated 11 million of those are from North America.
The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) is the world’s largest cruise industry trade association. They classify ships as Ultra-luxury, Luxury, Contemporary and Premium. We’ll discuss those in a future blog. Keep checking back. Read about the good work that CLIA does.
